Description
Active chilled beams supply conditioned primary (fresh) air to the room using heat exchangers to provide additional cooling and/or heating. Primary air is supplied through nozzles (4 sizes) into the mixing chambers; As a result, secondary air is forced in. Secondary air (room air) is drawn in through the ventilation grille and passes through a horizontal heat exchanger where it is heated or cooled. Primary air is mixed with secondary air and supplied horizontally into the room through air outlet slots.
Application
- Active chilled beams of the OET/6 series can be integrated into various ceiling systems, recommended for rooms up to 4.20 m in height
- Particularly convenient for installation in suspended ceilings with a 600 mm or 625 mm module
- 2- or 4-pipe heat exchangers provide high levels of comfort with low primary conditioned air flow rates
- The use of water as a heat and coolant ensures high energy efficiency
- Adjustable vanes (optional) allow you to manually set the direction of air flow
