Description

Slot diffusers direct air from air conditioning systems into rooms horizontally or vertically. The resulting airflow provides a large air volume in the room, thereby quickly reducing air velocity and the temperature difference between the supply air and the room air. This results in mixing ventilation in comfort zones and good overall ventilation in the room, creating only slight turbulence in the occupied area. ECB slot diffusers are factory-fitted with manually adjustable louvers. The diffuser can be equipped with continuous louvers for unidirectional horizontal airflow or vertical airflow for additional control. Air discharge is unidirectional (1 slot) or bidirectional (2 or more slots). Other air distribution options include heating mode with vertical discharge. The temperature difference between the supply air and the room air ranges from -10 to +10 K. An optional damper flap simplifies airflow adjustment during commissioning.

To create an aesthetically pleasing space, ECB slot diffusers can be used for exhaust air. ECB-AKV series plenum boxes and transfer adapters are available with an additional 12 mm thick inner lining to meet local requirements.

Single Diffuser

LN: 300 mm to 1800 mm

For sectioned installations

LN: > 1801 mm and ≤ 3600 mm, diffusers are supplied as two end sections of equal length.

LN: > 3600 mm, face diffusers are supplied as n x 1800 mm middle sections and two end sections of equal length.

For continuous sectioned installations, diffusers should be ordered with the total nominal length of the run. Diffusers will be supplied in sections (two equal-length end sections or n x 1800 mm middle sections and two equal-length end sections, depending on the nominal length) with locating pins for on-site joining by third-party suppliers. End plates or end corners, which will be factory-installed on the diffuser end sections, must be specified.

Intermediate sizes in 1 mm increments are available upon request.
