FD SERIES
Round and square ceiling swirl diffusers provide high ejection levels, suitable for high air flow rates
Standard sizes 300, 400, 500, 600, 625
Air flow level 9 – 235 l/s or 31 – 846 m³/h
Front panel made of galvanized sheet steel with powder coating
For supply and extract air
For systems with variable and constant air flow
Suitable for all types of ceilings, also suitable for free hanging when fitted with an edge panel
Rapid equalization of temperatures and reduction of air flow speed is achieved due to the high level of ejection
Diffusers can provide 35-fold air exchange when arranged in a row with a minimum pitch of 0.9 m (from center to center)
Ideal for comfort zones
Description
Ceiling swirl diffusers in air conditioning systems create a vortex supply of air for good mixing with the room air. The air flow obtained at the outlet of the diffuser allows one to achieve high ejection values, thereby quickly reducing the flow rate and leveling out the temperature difference between the supply air and the air in the room. Ceiling swirl diffusers are used for high air flows. As a result, there is a mixing of air flows in comfort zones, with a good distribution of air jets throughout the room and a small turbulent vortex in the area where people are present.
Ceiling swirl diffusers of the FD series have fixed guide vanes. Horizontal air supply is carried out in all directions. The temperature difference between the supply air and the room can range from –12 to +10 K.
Flap blade (optional) to balance air flow simplifies operation. The metering point and damper blade with flexible rod (optional) allow you to adjust the air flow when the front panel is installed.
To create an attractive, holistic room design, FD series diffusers can also be used for exhaust ventilation.
