Description

The KCK series circular silencer is designed for installation in ventilation systems; noise reduction levels are measured according to DIN EN ISO 7235. The sound-absorbing material is non-flammable mineral wool grade RAL-GZ 388 with a glass fiber coating, compliant with DIN 4102, fire hazard class A2. It is covered with a perforated plate to protect against wear when exposed to airflows at speeds of up to 20 m/s. The housing and perforated inner contour are made of galvanized sheet steel. The circular duct connections have grooves for sealing gaskets and comply with DIN EN 1506 or DIN EN 13180. The casing is leakproof according to DIN EN 1751, Class A.

Materials

• The housing, perforated inner contour, and sound-absorbing insert (only for the SV series) are made of galvanized sheet steel.
• The mineral wool sound-absorbing material complies with DIN 4102, fire hazard class A2, quality mark RAL-GZ 388, and is biodegradable according to TRGS 905 and EU Directive 97/69/EC.
• The sound-absorbing material is bonded with fiberglass to prevent peeling and can withstand airflows up to 20 m/s.
