Description
No external power supply is required to regulate air flow. The damper with bearings with a low coefficient of friction under the influence of aerodynamic force is installed in such a position that, regardless of pressure drops, a constant specified air flow is maintained. Under the influence of the aerodynamic force of the air flow, the damper closes. The inflatable compensator transmits and increases the force and at the same time reduces damper vibrations. The leaf spring counteracts the closing force of the valve. As a result, as pressure changes, the damper blade is adjusted to maintain a constant air flow.
Easy commissioning
The required air flow is easily and quickly set using the adjustment knob with a pointer; no additional equipment is required. The advantage over standard throttle valves is that there is no need for multiple measurements and adjustments of the valve, which are performed by a qualified specialist. If a change in pressure occurs, for example when a duct section opens or closes, the air flow in the entire system with butterfly valves will also change, while this does not happen in a system with mechanical flow regulators. Mechanical flow controllers will immediately change the position of their dampers so that the set air flow remains unchanged.
