Description
1 For valves with additional components, the temperature range may differ from the specified one. Characteristics for other operating conditions are provided upon customer request.
2 The given data is valid under the same conditions at the valve inlet and outlet.
3 To avoid disruption of the fire damper’s normal operation, it is necessary to protect the damper from moisture condensation and the entry of humid outside air.
4 Fire damper dampers of sizes 1 and 2 are equipped with a seal, size 3 – with a seal and a travel stop.

Application
TROX fire dampers FKA2-EU series are designed to automatically shut off the air duct between adjacent fire compartments in the event of a fire. The valves are CE marked and have a declaration of conformity.
Valves prevent fire and smoke from spreading through the duct into the adjacent fire compartment

Classification according to EN 13501-3: EI 120 (ve, ho, i ↔ o) S
Complies with EN 15650 requirements
Fire tested according to EN 1366-2 (negative pressure 300 Pa and 500 Pa)
Certified installation option using mortar and reduced distance to support elements (40 mm) or between two fire dampers (flange to flange, 60 mm)
Permissible clearance dimensions around the valve body when installing with mortar up to 225 mm
Thanks to the presence of two inspection holes with bayonet fastening, all work can be performed by one specialist
The valves meet the hygiene requirements of VDI 6022-1, VDI 3803-1, DIN 1946-4, DIN EN 13779, as well as Önorm H 6020 and H 6021 and SWKI standards
Corrosion protection meets the requirements of EN 15650 taking into account EN 60068-2-52
The tightness of the closed valve complies with the requirements of EN 1751, class 2
The sealing of the housing complies with the requirements of EN 1751, class C; (B + H) ≤ 700, class B
Low pressure drop and low noise
Valve position independent of air flow direction
With an AS interface, integration into a fire-protected building management system is possible if it complies with the international standard IEC 62026-2
